Lizzo Says She’s Uninterested in “Being Dragged” On-line: “I Stop”


Final 12 months, Lizzo was accused by her backup dancers of sexual harassment and fostering a hostile work setting. The singer denied the allegations, calling them “false” and “too outrageous to not be addressed.” Now, after months of criticism, she shared a press release on Instagram insinuating she could also be quitting music.

“I’m getting uninterested in placing up with being dragged by everybody in my life and on the web,” Lizzo wrote. “All I need is to make music and make folks completely happy and assist the world be a little bit higher than how I discovered it. However I’m beginning to really feel just like the world doesn’t need me in it. I’m always up in opposition to lies being advised about me for clout & views… being the butt of the joke each single time due to how I look… my character being picked aside by individuals who don’t know me and disrespecting my title.”

She added: “I didn’t join this shit — I QUIT.”

The message comes practically two months after a decide denied Lizzo’s movement to dismiss the lawsuits filed by three of her former dancers.

Earlier this month, Lizzo posted a message telling followers she is “writing a number of the greatest music and I’m so excited for y’all to listen to.
